They need to include Die Katharer (The Cathars) in this. IMO.

The Cathar-equivalent Siege was already released in Cult, Siege, and Creativity.

Yes, those are vanilla tiles though - not the same as die Katharer, which have the monk icon on them.

Are we going to have this discussion again? Spielbox has EXCLUSIVE rights to Die Katharer. It will never be re-released unless Spielbox decides otherwise. The popular outcry of that expansion caused Hans im Glück to mandate that all future Spielbox expansions be available for reprinting to all Carcassonne vendors, such as Rio Grande Games. Die Katharer was released before this proviso (and caused it), hence why Rio Grande had to release the expansion with new artwork and slightly different rules. If you want Die Katharer, spent the $30+ online to get it because that's the only way other than from a generous friend.

I was unaware that there were different rules.  How different are they?  I never noticed the difference in the CAR, but than again, I wasn't looking for it.

If you are interested in siege tiles (as they are now) with monk icon on them, Joff made a set located in the Accessories section HERE.

Only diffrence is that how You can escape from besieged city. I don't know if there are some more.

I have printed tiles from accessories, cause prices (price + shipping cost) for original tiles of Cathars are realy riddiculus where I live :/

Anyone hear of any updates to the Rio Grande Games release schedule for this compilation (other than just Q2 2012)?

This expansion is still marked as "Not Yet Available" in the distributor's catalog (same with Falcon expansion for The Castle). The retail price will be $17.50

I've just received word from Z-Man Games that they will not be publishing this expansion because the Spielbox stuff is not included in their partnership agreement. Embarrassed

The difference is that in Siege your meeple can escape from a besieged city if there is a cloister bordering any tile of the city, whereas in Cathars the cloister needs to border to the cathar tile.

Was anyone able to get the rules downloaded from Rio Grande's website before the page for this expansion went down? I'd love to see Jay's original translation of Plague and Tunnel.

What non-spielbox expansions are there they might still get to us?

Corn Circles 1
Windrose (once its out in 2013)

Any more? Probably not enough for a boxed compilation...but just right for a unique extra small expansion.

Oh...La Porxada and The School also.

I imagine that we might see Count, King, and Consort from Z-Man.

There were never any posted rules whenever I looked at the RGG placeholder page for the Corn Circles, Plague, & Tunnels expansion.
