This is a space marine vs. aliens themed co-op game with a twist.  There is a traitor (infected host) who can infect other players as the game progresses.  The human team is trying to wipe out the alien hive while the ever-growing, incognito alien team is trying to stop them.

There is a Carcassonne type card laying mechanic to it.  You start with one card on the table as the first room of the space station and on your turn you have the option to draw cards and add rooms to the station.  One of the rooms will have the hive on it so you definitely want to get to it as quickly as possible.

BGG is down at the moment so I'll link to the game page later.  I'm really anxious for a legit session of this.  I bought it on New Year's Eve and only played it once.  The other players weren't that into it so they didn't conceal the host at all and it was not that much fun.  I'm taking it to Board Game night tonight and tomorrow though so I'm really hoping for a satisfying experience.  I got my promos today too!

Them's fightin' words.

But seriously, if you want to know more about a game head over to BoardGameGeek. I find that when there's a Video Review, that's the easiest way to find out about something.

Still I have the game but I have already prepared some papers for a wild variant:)

My session last night didn't go quite as expected.  Our babysitter (Grampa) bailed on us so not wanting to postpone our meeting that I had tried very hard to pull together, we ended up taking our kids.  It was quite something to have our little kids in a FLGS with 40-50 other gamers.  I'm sure some people thought it odd, but we did our best to keep them from playing with all the War Hammer figures.  All told, it went much smoother than it could have.

We did start playing Panic Station, but with five first time players out of six, it took a little while longer than I thought.  With our children getting glassy eyed and my daughter curling up on the carpet to go to sleep, we were unable to finish it.  We should have played it before we played Munchkin...

Ckorfmann what version of the rules you use? those of the box? revised by the author, version 2.1 or 2.2?
the rules do not exist in Italian, I took those translated amateur but there are only version 2.1.

I downloaded the latest English rules from BGG.  I think it's 2.2.

you've got to read the rules 2.1? you know how does it differ? if they change a lot, armed with patience and divocabolario, read everything to understand the differences.

This game is really hard to find in The Netherlands, or expensive (with shipping).

Guess I'll be waiting to see if I can get it at Essen for a decent price.

Or, hopefully there will be a reprint with the updated rules and expansion included.

if not mistaken should be out soon a German reprint.
as the game is independent of the language of the rules, one might expect.
If someone is interested I have released 2 new cards amateur on BGG

Expanding to sell $ 5 free delivery here
