We got a chance to really test it yesterday and it player really well. It was a good test because it revealed a couple of necessary changes to the rules. First is, 30 eggs in the initial supply is not enough. We think a better number is going to be 40 and we'll be play testing that today to see how it works. The second thing is when the supply is depleted, instead of requiring the player to the left to donate all three eggs for a new nest it should be one from the player to the left, then one from the player to his left, and so on until the nest has three eggs. That way it is not such a hit on just one player. We'll be incorporating that today as well.

The player who won the egg collection contest in this game won it with 8 eggs. One other player had 6 and one other had 5. Some were left on the board as they were not in farms.

This game included:
Easter Festival
Wheel of Fortune
Stone Walls
Pig Farm tile
Wagon
Mayor
Big Follower
Bridges
Abbeys

We made up a custom die for the Easter Festival by using black marker on an old plastic d6 that we had. Can't wait for the Flier to come out so we can get that d6.

We used mini malted eggs. They were a little rolley polley but once you found the heavy side of the egg they mostly stayed put. Heh, none of us really felt like eating them after we all finished playing with them. A couple of the fell on the floor and no one knew for sure which they were. Foil wrapped eggs would probably be too large for the board but would remain edible at the end.  Smiley

We're trying the next came using wood cubes - saving the edibles till the end.  Cheesy

I'll post our session from today later on.

Happy Easter!
