I had an idea for the use of water tiles.  What do you all think of using the ship figures from Settlers of Catan as followers for water tiles.  Perhaps everyone could get two of them at the beginning.  Share your thoughs.

Also, do anyone know where I can get English rules for the German made 60 tile lake set? Thanks.

That sounds like a great expansion for skipboris' The Ocean.

And I don't think there are rules for the German Lake expansion.

Edit: Added to development list.

I don't think I'm really going to do much with it personally.  The suggestion was really for those who made water themed expansions.  I think skipboris is planning on using them for The Ocean.  Nobody here is really doing anything with The Lake.  The only thing left is Fishermen.  If you'd like to do something with them, I'm all for it.

There are no rules Wink

You can see the german site heere:

http://carcassonne-city.blogspot.com/2007/04/der-see-von-guido-kmmer-und-carsten.html

The only one thing explained there is "The lake will be treated like a city, fish is countes like a heraldic".

Because there are less lake tiles than city tiles, we count 3 points for each lake tile...

And after playing with the lake for now about half a year or longer, I added 20 more tiles, because ent-tiles often were missing, so I copied some end tiles and now it's perfect...

could I see your 20 tiles? The reason I didn't make lake was because there were too few...
